EURITAS welcomes a new member from Sweden – Försäkringskassan

EURITAS, the European network of public IT service providers, has officially expanded with a new member from Sweden – the government agency Försäkringskassan.

The announcement was made during the EURITAS strategic meeting held in January in Bern, hosted by the Swiss Federal Office of Information Technology and Telecommunications (BIT). The gathering brought together members to define shared priorities and shape the organisation’s development for the upcoming mid-term period. During the meeting, EURITAS President Peder Wiese presented Peter Haglind, Juha Alskog & Anna Fors, representatives of Försäkringskassanwith the official membership certificate and warmly welcomed the new member to the network.

The inclusion of Försäkringskassan marks an important step for the network. The agency plays a key role in managing social benefits and financial security for a broad segment of Sweden’s population. Its membership brings additional expertise and perspective, further reinforcing EURITAS’ capacity as a collaborative platform.

With this new addition, EURITAS now comprises 15 organisations providing IT services to the public sector for around 200 million citizens across 12 European countries. The arrival of the Swedish partner underlines the continuous growth and attractiveness of EURITAS, opening new opportunities for joint projects and stronger synergies among its members.
