Centre for Information Technology (COI – Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki) is a leading provider of digital solutions for the Polish public sector. With a team of over 1,800 highly skilled specialists, COI delivers Polish key IT systems and digital public services, playing a central role in shaping and driving technological transformation across the country.

For more than 15 years, COI has been responsible for developing and maintaining national‑scale IT infrastructures, applications, and cybersecurity services. Its portfolio includes over 60 completed projects, among them flagship solutions such as mObywatel—a mobile application enabling citizens to use digital identity documents and public services—which has been downloaded more than 27 million times. The application provides citizens with a range of convenient functionalities such as: digital documents e.g. mID and mobile driving license, services – e.g. Block PESEL and quick access to one’s prescriptions, the number of penalty points, or air quality measurements.

As a public sector entity, COI is committed to delivering innovative, secure, and user‑centric digital services that simplify everyday life for citizens and support the modernization of public administration. Its achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including prestigious the Masters & Robots Awards (2026).
