Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki (COI) joins EURITAS as a guest member

EURITAS, the European network of public IT service providers, has expanded its cooperation network with the addition of Poland’s Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki (COI) as a guest member. The announcement was made during the EURITAS spring meeting held in Dublin on May 11 – 12 May and hosted by Ireland’s Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).
The Dublin meeting brought together representatives of public ICT providers from across Europe to discuss key challenges and opportunities in digital government, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, and the resilience of critical public digital infrastructure.
Strengthening cooperation
During the meeting, EURITAS President Peder Wiese officially welcomed representatives of Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki and emphasized the importance of broader European collaboration in public sector digital transformation.
“Welcoming COI to EURITAS as a guest member is another important step in strengthening cooperation between European public ICT providers. Public administrations across Europe face increasingly similar challenges — from cybersecurity and AI governance to digital sovereignty and resilient digital services. By working together and exchanging expertise, we can build stronger and more innovative public digital ecosystems for European citizens,” said Wiese.
Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki is one of Poland’s leading public IT organizations, responsible for the development and maintenance of key digital public services and systems supporting citizens and public administration “Joining EURITAS as a guest member is an important opportunity for COI to strengthen cooperation with leading European public ICT organizations, exchange knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the development of secure and innovative digital public services across Europe,” said Dominik Wasiluk, representative of COI.
Continued growth
The inclusion of COI as a guest member reflects the continued growth and attractiveness of EURITAS as a European platform for cooperation between public ICT providers. EURITAS members support the delivery of digital public services for millions of citizens across Europe and promote collaboration on shared technological and strategic priorities. With the addition of Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki, EURITAS now brings together 16 member organizations from 13 European countries, further strengthening the network’s role as a key forum for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the field of public sector digital transformation.
